Week 4 · June 2026

Payments are live.
Ready for real people.

This was the week it all came together. The full payment and sign-up system is wired to Kajabi and tested end to end, your email system is live, and we ran the whole app through a security review. Here is everything.

Live Kajabi payments
Live Account emails
5 Security fixes
v1.2 Software version
In plain words

Someone can now buy a plan on Kajabi and the app does the rest — it makes their account, emails their login, and gives them what they paid for. Upgrades move people up without ever charging twice. Your emails send from your own address. And before opening the doors, we put the whole thing through a security review. In short: it’s ready for real people.

The big one

Payments and sign-ups, end to end.

Someone buys a plan on Kajabi and the app takes it from there — it makes their account, sends the right email, and gives them exactly what they paid for. Tested today with real Kajabi purchases.

👤
Buying a plan creates the account
When someone checks out in Kajabi — free Discover, Practice, or Mastery — their Scorecard account is created on the spot and they get a login email. No manual setup on your end.
Live People go from “just bought” to “using it” with zero friction.
02
Upgrades just work — no double charge
If someone who already has an account buys a higher plan, the app recognizes them and moves them up, keeps their password, and Kajabi cancels the old plan so they’re never billed for two.
Live Clean upgrades, and nobody ever pays twice.
03
The right email every time
New buyers get a “set your password” welcome. People upgrading get a “you’re upgraded” note. Two different messages, each one fitting what just happened.
Live Every customer gets a message that matches their moment.
04
📊
Plan limits enforced automatically
Discover (7 days unlimited, then 3 a month), Practice (25 a month), Mastery (unlimited). The app counts and enforces it for you.
Live The plans you sell are exactly the plans people get.
05
📧
Emails send from your own address
Connected your verified sender (info@thechristianhansen.com) so welcomes, password resets, and upgrade notes all send reliably from you.
Live People actually receive their login details — this also fixed the earlier missed sign-ups.
06
Upgrade anyone from the admin screen
You can move any user to any plan by hand in one click, and they get the same upgrade email automatically.
Live You can fix or comp an account in seconds, without a checkout.
Also this week

And we hardened the whole thing.

Before opening the doors, we put the app through a security review — the kind you’d run before a large organization signs up — and strengthened five things. None of it changes how the app looks or works for your users.

# What we strengthened What we did Status Why it matters
01
🔒
Admin access locked down
Only your three approved admins (you and two of Christian’s) can see everyone’s reports. We closed a path where a new sign-up could have given themselves that access. Now there is only one way to become an admin: an existing admin grants it.
Live Your users’ private conversations stay private. No one can quietly hand themselves the keys.
02
🛡
Protected against surprise costs
If the system ever hiccups while checking someone’s plan, it now safely pauses and asks them to try again — instead of accidentally handing out unlimited paid scoring during the glitch.
Live Your AI costs stay predictable. A momentary glitch can’t turn into a runaway bill.
03
🔐
File uploads require a login
The part of the app that reads an uploaded transcript file now only works for signed-in users. It used to be reachable without an account.
Live Stops strangers from using your tool’s horsepower without signing up.
04
🔑
New-password step can’t be skipped
When a new buyer gets a temporary password, they must set their own before doing anything else. We made sure that step can’t be jumped past, even by a clever shortcut.
Live Every account ends up with a private password only the owner knows.
05
Admin dashboard built for a crowd
We rebuilt the “all users” admin screen so it stays fast with hundreds or thousands of people — it now loads one page at a time and searches on the server instead of pulling everyone into your browser at once.
Live When a big group joins, your admin view won’t crawl or freeze.

What happens next

  1. 1
    The final walkthrough
The last step in our agreement: a walkthrough together, your account access confirmed, and operating instructions handed over. The 2-week bug-fix window starts that day.
  2. 2
    Quick pre-launch cleanup
Remove the test coupons and test accounts, turn email confirmation back on, and set transcripts to auto-delete after 90 days. Small, and all on our side.
  3. 3
    Open to a small pilot
Let a first group in, watch it run clean, then scale up with confidence.
